NMRDA is advancing the 'New Nagpur' project, a 1,710-acre development envisioned as a high-tech, globally competitive urban hub. The project aims to attract start-ups, MSMEs, and technology firms by offering advanced infrastructure and smart city features.

The Maharashtra Government has sanctioned ₹315 crore for various development projects in Nagpur, including footpaths, gardens, streetlights, and sewage lines. This funding, released to the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC), aims to expedite long-pending infrastructure works and upgrade the city's civic amenities.
