Jaipur Property Registrations Halted for Housing Society Pattas Amidst Regulatory Crackdown
The state government has stopped the registration of properties based on informal housing society 'pattas' to curb unregulated real estate activities and protect buyers from fraudulent sales. All such land will now require a 90-A conversion, involving certification of land-use, layout, and road width norms by revenue, town planning, and JDA departments before registration. This is expected to bring greater transparency and legality to property transactions.
