Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for Jaipur Metro Phase-II on July 4, 2026. This 41-kilometer corridor, with an estimated investment exceeding ₹13,000 crore, will connect Prahladpura with Pinjrapole Gaushala. The project is expected to ease traffic congestion.

The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) plans to eliminate 21 traffic signals on Mahal Road, Sikar Road, and Sanganer Road by December 2026, replacing them with U-turn bays. This Rs 50-crore initiative aims to significantly ease traffic congestion and improve traffic flow on these major routes.

The completion of the 80-foot road in Jagatpura is seen as a significant infrastructure upgrade that will directly improve access to key economic zones like Malviya Nagar, Sanganer, and Jaipur Airport. This development is expected to catalyze the real estate market in Jagatpura, which is already experiencing growth due to infrastructure projects.

The Union Government has approved the Jaipur Metro Rail Project Phase II, a 41 km corridor with an investment of Rs 130.38 billion. This project aims to provide seamless connectivity to key areas like Sitapura Industrial Area, Vishwakarma Industrial Area, and the Jaipur Airport, integrating with Phase I to create a unified metro network.

The Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has approved ₹240 crore for the construction of an elevated road in Sanganer, aiming to reduce severe traffic congestion. The project, announced in the state budget, will include a 4-lane elevated road from Sanganer flyover to Kalyanpura ROB and a 2-lane elevated road connecting Chordia petrol pump to Diggi Malpura Gate.
