Several new residential projects are being launched in Vadodara, including 'Satyam The Woods' in Kapurai, 'Swastik Green Palms' in Bhayli, 'Nidhaan Harmony' in New Alkapuri, and 'Narayan Green Vistas' on Sama Savli Road. These projects offer various configurations and are expected to cater to the growing housing demand.

As of July 6, 2026, there are 134 new launch projects in Vadodara West, including villas and apartments in areas like "Shivalik The Skygaze" in Sevasi , "VR luxuria" in Bhayli", and "Darshnam Spinel Stone" in Gotri. This signifies ongoing development and expansion in these localities, potentially leading to improved amenities and connectivity.

The state government has approved the Badalpur-Kareli Barrage Cum Bridge project on the Mahi River, estimated at ₹1,700 crore. This project will store 183 million cubic meters of freshwater, address salinity issues, and provide clean drinking water to 409 villages, including those in the Vadodara district, benefiting over 1.5 million people.
