The Dehradun real estate market sees new project launches with Shivalik Exotica , Capitol Royal Casa and Mahalaxmi Lord Krishna Terraces. These developments aim to provide modern living spaces and are expected to contribute to the city's urban expansion.

The 12-kilometer bypass project around Dehradun, a ₹716 crore initiative by the National Highways Authority of India, has reached 44% completion. This four-lane greenfield highway, connecting Jhajhra to the Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor, is slated for completion by April 2027.

As part of Uttarakhand's ₹74,100 crore mega road plan, Dehradun will see urban infrastructure upgrades including elevated corridors, ring roads, and tunnel-based bypass systems, . MCD is having board meeting on April 29 to discuss 65 proposals concerning civic amenities, infrastructure, and governance. Land proposals involve establishing a new fire station near Sahastradhara helipad and a power substation in Nakraunda.
