The UP government has approved a new 74-km, six-lane access-controlled road that will link the Noida International Airport region with the Ganga Expressway via Bulandshahr. The project, targeted for completion within three years, will include several underpasses, bridges, and a flyover.

The Noida Authority is planning a massive ₹29,315 crore project to develop a 25-kilometer riverfront along the Hindon River, inspired by Lucknow's Gomti riverfront. This initiative includes extensive road construction, land development, and rehabilitation efforts, aiming to transform the riverbanks with green spaces and tourism infrastructure.

The Noida Authority will begin land acquisition for its New Noida project (Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region) in August. Ground surveys will be conducted across 37 villages for the first phase. The project aims to develop a smart city and industrial hub, with 40% of the land earmarked for industrial purposes. This development is expected to strengthen the region's logistics network and create economic opportunities.

The Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) has approved the expansion of the Aqua Line with eight new stations across two corridors. A significant stretch will connect Botanical Garden to Sector 142, aiming for a direct link with the Delhi Metro and another stretch , from sector 51 to Knowledge park V , with sector 61 station , as interchange to Blue line.

The Uttar Pradesh government is considering earmarking funds in its supplementary budget for new expressways, including the Vindhya Expressway and a link expressway connecting the Agra-Lucknow Expressway with the Ganga Expressway. Allocations may also be made for defense corridor and industrial township projects.

The interchange connecting the Eastern Peripheral Expressway and Yamuna Expressway in Greater Noida is scheduled to open by October 15, 2026. This crucial infrastructure project, which faced cost escalations from ₹75.5 crore to ₹270 crore due to delays, is expected to significantly improve connectivity to the Noida International Airport.

YEIDA has proposed the development of 'Japan City' and 'Singapore City' in Greater Noida, spanning 1,000 acres. These integrated industrial cities will feature a mixed-use development model with 70% industrial, 12% residential, 13% commercial, and 5% institutional facilities.

The Greater Noida authority is set to launch a 24x7 helpline center to improve citizen services, enable complaint reporting, and track grievances. The center will utilize multiple communication channels and ensure prompt follow-ups. A request for proposal has been issued, with bids due by August 5.

Retail space leased across malls and high streets in Delhi-NCR rose by 78% year-on-year to 1.3 million sq ft in the first half of 2026. This growth is primarily driven by expansion from fashion retailers, restaurants, and department stores. Infrastructure expansion and sustained residential development are creating new consumption corridors.
