The Union government has approved a 30-kilometer expressway project connecting Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, and the upcoming Jewar International Airport, running parallel to the existing Noida-Greater Noida Expressway along the Yamuna River to decongest traffic and provide a faster route to the airport. The Greater Noida Authority has also approved a proposal to build a 4km elevated road from Sector 4 to the Delhi-Meerut Expressway in collaboration with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to ease traffic congestion in Noida Extension. Additionally, the Greater Noida Authority (GNIDA) has announced plans to widen a service road between Charmurti and Tigri Circle on both sides, with the tender closing on September 30, 2025, and an estimated tender amount of INR 46,435,837.
