A crucial infrastructure project, a six-lane bridge over the Hindon River connecting Noida's Sector 146 with Greater Noida's LG Chowk area, is nearing completion. The project is expected to significantly reduce travel time between the two cities from nearly an hour to about 12 minutes, benefiting thousands of daily commuters.

UP PWD has proposed road strengthening and widening projects worth over ₹256 crore for Gautam Budh Nagar, including Noida and Greater Noida, for the 2026-27 financial year. The projects include widening and strengthening nearly 79 km of roads and constructing rural roads and minor bridges.

The Greater Noida authority has approved a 3.58% increase in property circle rates, aligning with the Cost Inflation Index to encourage investment. The draft 'Unified Building Regulations-2026' proposes higher Floor Area Ratio (FAR), relaxed height norms, and faster approvals to encourage vertical growth and revive stalled projects.

The Greater Noida Authority has approved an annual budget of ₹5,597 crore for FY 2025-26, with significant allocations for land acquisition and infrastructure development. Key projects include an elevated road in Greater Noida West to ease traffic congestion, reflecting a commitment to balanced urban expansion and improved public services.

Residents in Greater Noida's Alpha, Beta, and Delta sectors have reported irregular garbage collection and persistent water pipeline leakages, alleging inaction by the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA). Uncollected waste is accumulating on roads, and several water leaks have been reported, causing waterlogging and traffic congestion. Complaints also include unattended horticulture waste.
