The Noida Authority will begin land acquisition for its New Noida project (Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region) in August. Ground surveys will be conducted across 37 villages for the first phase. The project aims to develop a smart city and industrial hub, with 40% of the land earmarked for industrial purposes. This development is expected to strengthen the region's logistics network and create economic opportunities.

The interchange connecting the Eastern Peripheral Expressway and Yamuna Expressway in Greater Noida is scheduled to open by October 15, 2026. This crucial infrastructure project, which faced cost escalations from ₹75.5 crore to ₹270 crore due to delays, is expected to significantly improve connectivity to the Noida International Airport.

The Greater Noida authority is set to launch a 24x7 helpline center to improve citizen services, enable complaint reporting, and track grievances. The center will utilize multiple communication channels and ensure prompt follow-ups. A request for proposal has been issued, with bids due by August 5.

YEIDA has proposed two integrated smart townships, 'Japan City' and 'Singapore City,' spanning 1,000 acres near the Noida International Airport in Jewar. These townships are designed to combine industry, residential blocks, commercial spaces, and modern amenities, aiming to attract foreign investment, create jobs, and accelerate regional development into a global industrial and residential hub.

CM Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the new Noida Authority headquarters in Sector 96 and laid the foundation stone for 70 development projects worth ₹2,479 crore. The projects include industrial development initiatives, aiming to boost the region's economic growth and resolve citizen and entrepreneur issues.

The Greater Noida Authority has decided to issue Recovery Certificates against 14 real estate developers to recover ₹315.5 crore in land dues. This action is crucial for facilitating the registration and possession of flats for 8,856 homebuyers whose property rights have been on hold due to the builders' non-clearance of dues. This move aims to resolve stalled projects and bring relief to a significant number of buyers.

The Greater Noida Authority plans to construct 45 new bus stops across the city to enhance public transportation infrastructure. These stops will be equipped with amenities like mobile charging points and CCTV surveillance.The development will be under the Build-Operate-Transfer model, with a tender to be issued soon.

Noida International Airport (NIA) officially began its commercial flight operations on June 15, 2026. IndiGo operated the inaugural flight from Lucknow, marking a significant milestone for aviation infrastructure in North India and the Delhi-NCR region. The airport is expected to ease pressure on Delhi's existing airports and boost trade, tourism, logistics, and regional development.

UP PWD has proposed road strengthening and widening projects worth over ₹256 crore for Gautam Budh Nagar, including Noida and Greater Noida, for the 2026-27 financial year. The projects include widening and strengthening nearly 79 km of roads and constructing rural roads and minor bridges.
