GVMC is planning significant road widening projects in Bheemunipatnam and the West Zone of Visakhapatnam to improve traffic flow and road safety. The Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) plans to develop a 1.6 km heritage walking track in the historic One Town area of Visakhapatnam. The track will connect heritage structures between Poorna Market and the Old Post Office, with informational signboards to detail the history of each landmark.

Following the reconfirmation of the CM office shift, the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) has initiated fast-paced road expansion works.
