The elevated stretch of the Patna Metro from Bhoothnath to Malahi Pakri, a key part of Corridor II, has successfully passed a safety inspection by the Chief Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety. This 2.75 km section, including Khemnichak station, is set to open soon, completing the priority elevated corridor and boosting urban mobility.

Trial runs for the Patna Metro Rail Project Phase I have been successfully completed on the Bhootnath – Malahi Pakri stretch. Additionally, pier girder installation is progressing at Mithapur station for the elevated section. A tunnel is planned under Rajendra Nagar Terminal, running from Moinul Haq Stadium through Rajendra Nagar to Malahi Pakri.

Mundeshwari Group launched its residential project, 'Mundeshwari Megapolis,' on March 1, 2026. This township, spread across approximately 12 acres ,with lot of Green spaces and modern facilities. It includes two modern clubhouses for easy resident access. The vision is to create a 'city within a city' integrating education, health, hospitality, commercial activities, and housing.

Patna officials have collected over Rs 2.25 crore in fines and dismantled 1,402 unauthorized structures during anti-encroachment drives. Stringent measures are being taken to clear obstructions on major routes, aiming to improve traffic flow and public movement. This crackdown is expected to lead to smoother traffic and more organized public spaces.
