Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary announced a significant infrastructure initiative to extend Patna's J.P. Ganga Path into a 126-km Ganga Marine Drive. The project, estimated at ₹70,000 crore, aims to enhance road connectivity and transport infrastructure along the Ganga corridor.

The Patna Metro Rail Corporation Limited (PMRC) is set to expand its train fleet with three additional six-coach rakes by December 2026.
