The Bihar Cabinet has approved a 500 MW rooftop solar project to be installed on government buildings across the state over the next five years. This initiative is expected to reduce electricity expenditure for government institutions, increase renewable energy adoption, lower carbon emissions, and promote environmental sustainability.

Patna is set to launch 'Nagar Netra,' an initiative using AI-powered electric scooters to identify civic issues like litter and potholes across all 75 wards. This will lead to quicker responses and improved accountability in addressing civic problems, enhancing city management.

Bihar aims to attract ₹5 lakh crore in IT investments to boost AI and digital growth. A modern data centre in Patna is nearing operational status, CM also said airports, airstrips, rapid rail in different parts of state & defence corridor in Rajgir & Munger will generate employment. ..

The Patna Metro project is progressing with its first phase, including two main corridors (East-West and North-South), expected to have stations operational by 2027. The project aims to revolutionize urban mobility and is estimated to cost approximately ₹13,365 crore.

The Bihar government is set to construct a new four-lane highway, Vishwamitra Path, along the Ganga river embankments between Maner and Buxar. This 125 km project, including a new bridge over the Sone river, aims to significantly improve connectivity between Patna and western Bihar.

A ₹115 crore Mandiri Nala Road Project, also known as Naveen Kishore Sinha Path, has been inaugurated in Patna. This project, executed under the Patna Smart City Mission, features a covered box drain with a modern road constructed above it, , around Bailey road ,Bans Ghat , & linking Nehru Path to JP Ganga path.

CM Samrat Choudhary has directed officials to expedite the Patna Metro Rail project and explore the feasibility of an Ultra Pod Taxi system to link the airport with the metro network. The metro project aims to ease congestion and reduce travel time, while the proposed UltraPOD system is envisioned as a 5-km dedicated track for on-demand transit between key administrative and institutional centers.

Bihar has secured over $1 billion in investment from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to boost infrastructure, industrial growth, and key sectors like agriculture and tourism. The state government has also sent three major infrastructure projects, including a 12km bridge over the Gandak river and two highway upgrades worth Rs 10,000 crore, to the Union Cabinet for approval.
