The elevated stretch of the Patna Metro from Bhoothnath to Malahi Pakri, a key part of Corridor II, has successfully passed a safety inspection by the Chief Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety. This 2.75 km section, including Khemnichak station, is set to open soon, completing the priority elevated corridor and boosting urban mobility.
The Bihar Cabinet has sanctioned the appointment of a consultancy firm to develop a comprehensive mega plan for Rajbanshi Nagar and Shastri Nagar, with an allocation of Rs 1.59 crore. Additionally, Rs 576 crore has been approved for underground electricity cabling in nine divisions of Patna. The Patna Ring Road project also received Rs 284 crore for land acquisition.
