The Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-2A is proposed to be extended by 6.032 km to link Koteshwar Metro Station with Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. This expansion aims to enhance urban mobility, reduce travel time and road traffic congestion, and integrate the airport into the city's mass rapid transit system, thereby improving connectivity for residents and travelers.
