Malshiras, Pune

Malshiras is a small village in the Purandhar tehsil of the Pune district. It is located in the vicinity of Pune-Pandharpur Road and Belsar-Urali Kanchan Road.

It is bound by Shirur taluka towards North, Baramati taluka towards East and Haveli taluka towards South.

Malshiras is also a gram panchayat as of 2009. It has a small agrarian population of about 3,500 people. Sasvad is the nearest town to Malshiras which is 25 km away. The other nearest town is Jejuri.

Malshiras is a quaint village with minimal pollution. There is no city rush in or around the village. It is well connected from the nearest cities through roadways.

Residents have to travel a significant distance to big hospitals and supermarkets. There might be some development, within the village, in the future. But, as of now, the residents make do with what’s available nearby.

The main connection to Malshiras is from the Solapur - Pune Highway NH 65 also called the Mumbai highway at Yavat.
