Modinagar, Ghaziabad

Modinagar is among the most important administrative towns in the Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh. It's a major residential and commercial locality and was named after Rai Bahadur Gujarmal Modi, the man behind the Modi Group of Industries, which he founded in the year 1933. 

Modinagar has also become a major educational hub, and its proximity to Delhi is one of the major contributors to this development. Modinagar and its surrounding localities have several places that tourists can visit. The first is Chota Haridwar which has been witnessing increasing religious significance over the years. 

Another tourist attraction is Swarna Jayanti Park, which is a well-known recreational space and park close to Modinagar. It features a beautiful Japanese garden, a jogging track, and even boat rides. There's also a children's play area for young kids to enjoy. 

Another notable landmark is the ISKCON Temple. While this is located in Ghaziabad, it's within a convenient distance from Modinagar. It was established in 2008 and is the first ISKCON temple in Ghaziabad. 

Modinagar fairs comparatively better than a lot of smaller localities around it.
