UP PWD has proposed road strengthening and widening projects worth over ₹256 crore for Gautam Budh Nagar, including Noida and Greater Noida, for the 2026-27 financial year. The projects include widening and strengthening nearly 79 km of roads and constructing rural roads and minor bridges.

The Greater Noida authority has approved a 3.58% increase in property circle rates, aligning with the Cost Inflation Index to encourage investment. Additionally, a proposal for a 37-km road connecting Greater Noida to the Ganga Expressway has been cleared, promising seamless connectivity to western Uttar Pradesh and reducing travel time.

GNIDA has approved a six-month pilot of 15 electric buses on four feeder routes linking key residential and business hubs to the Noida International Airport (Jewar). The service, costing ₹1.8 crore, is expected to improve connectivity to the new airport, which begins commercial operations on June 15.

The recent inauguration of the 594-km Ganga Expressway is expected to significantly enhance connectivity and drive real estate growth in Greater Noida and Meerut. Industry leaders anticipate this infrastructure development will lead to a 30-40% appreciation in property values in markets connected to the Yamuna Expressway and Noida International Airport

GNIDA has issued a final warning to property allottees who have not completed registry or started construction on their plots for over two decades. Extensions have been granted until October 30, 2024, for registry and June 30, 2026, for construction, after which allotments may be cancelled.
