The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has proposed a 2.8 km steel flyover to be constructed across RTC X Roads. The flyover will run from the NTR Stadium in Hyderabad to Ashok Nagar.

The proposed flyover is 2.8 km long, with a 90-foot span. It is a part of the Hyderabad Metro rail project, which will be phase one. During the construction of the project, it is anticipated that a total of 17,000 metric tonnes of steel will be used. Materials for the project will be purchased from the Steel Authority of India.
