Wai Comparison

Here are a few ways Maharashtra's Wai district is better than other cities in the country:

  • Unlike much of India, the hill station of Wai in the state of Satara is endowed with natural beauty rather than being artificial and devoid of character.
  • Wai is known as "Dakshin Kashi" and has more than a hundred temples, attracting many religious tourists (Kashi of the South).
  • This is a great place to visit if you want to escape the sweltering heat of other regions of India because of its milder temperature.
  • The temples and buildings of Wai are tangible reminders of the city's illustrious past and culture.
  • The warm hospitality of the locals of Wai makes the city an excellent vacation destination.
  • The mountainous stations of Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani can both be accessed from Wai; hence the town has a double reputation.
  • When compared to other major cities, such as Pune or Bengaluru, Wai is a more wallet-friendly option.
