The construction of a new industrial and connectivity corridor between Faridabad and Gurugram is set to commence, with heavy machinery already on-site. This project, including the Ballabgarh-Samaypur-Sirmthala-Sohna road, aims to improve connectivity between three districts, reduce traffic congestion on existing routes, and attract significant industrial investment.

The NCR Draft Regional Plan 2041 supports Haryana's proposal to develop five new greenfield cities ('Panchgrams') along the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway.
