Ahmedabad's Draft Outdoor Advertisement Policy 2026 proposes strict safety requirements for outdoor advertising installations, including a mandate for operators to maintain a third-party liability insurance policy of up to ₹1 crore for large or digital installations. This policy aims to prevent infrastructure damage, protect public safety.

The Gujarat government has signed MoU with HUDCO to secure long-term financing of up to ₹1 lakh crore for various infrastructure projects across the state. This allows for taller structures, helping to keep property prices in check by enabling builders to construct vertically and offer better amenities. GIFT City is set to enhance its livability with the planned construction of a new public sports arena spread across 2.5 acres.
