The Kolkata Metro network is set to expand by an additional 19 km by the end of 2026, with plans to eventually cover 130 km in the coming years. This expansion includes the addition of new routes and the commissioning of the Orange Line by December 2026.

These infrastructure upgrades are crucial for the city's public transport system.
