The Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority has granted clearance for the connectivity between Metro Line 4 and 4A and the metro car depot at Mogharpada in Thane. The proposal includes constructing a 25-meter wide elevated approach road with a metro spur line, ensuring operational connectivity without disturbing ecologically sensitive areas.

The Thane Municipal Corporation has published notifications regarding the approach road for the Mogharpada Metro Car depot of the Metro Project. The MMRDA has secured 174 hectares of land in Mogharpada, Thane, for the city's largest integrated metro car depot which will serve metro lines 4, 4A, 10 and 11.
