Karnataka is planning to develop three sustainable data center parks with a combined capacity of 1 GW. One 500 MW park will be located near Hoskote in Bengaluru, powered by solar energy from Pavagada. The Bengaluru Water Supply and Sewerage Board has confirmed sufficient water supply for the project.

Puravankara Limited's subsidiary, Starworth Infrastructure & Construction Limited, has received a LOI for a residential project in Chinnagenahalli, Bengaluru, valued at approximately ₹144.45 crore. This contract for 'Nature's Nest' will involve civil, structural, and finishing works, expected to be executed over 28 months.

The Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA) is set to launch over 4,000 apartments across six housing projects in Bengaluru, targeting middle-class buyers near IT hubs. Projects in Konadasapura and Electronics City will offer affordable options. This initiative aims to address Bengaluru's growing housing demand and optimize urban land use, potentially providing more housing options and improving affordability in the city.

Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Pune accounted for approximately 60% of new residential unit launches in India during the first quarter of 2026. Bengaluru alone saw 12,664 units launched, driven by township projects in its eastern corridor, including Whitefield and Hoskote. This surge in launches is expected to boost housing supply and potentially stabilize property prices.
