Pune Civic Body Allocates ₹740 Crore to Boost Traffic Infrastructure

PMC has allocated ₹740 crore in its 2026-27 budget to enhance traffic infrastructure, including road repairs, flyover-bridge projects. .A separate allocation of Rs 100 crore has been made for the development of the Katraj-Kondhwa road. Also, Ghorpadi railway overbridge, Aga Khan riverbridge and Suncity-Karvenagar riverbridge are planned to be completed before monsoon.

PMC Addresses Sewage Contamination in Drinking Water

This 5.5-km underground stretch, part of Phase II, will ease congestion on Satara Road and improve north–south connectivity.The revised tender includes stations at Market Yard, Padmavati, Katraj, Bibwewadi, and Balajinagar.

This place has good road connectivity with all transport facilities. There is a lake called Katraj lake in Katraj and this place has a zoo named Rajiv Gandhi Zoological park. All the basic amenities like schools, colleges, banks, universities, clinics, and medicine stores are available nearby the location. This place has greenery surroundings and a nice and calm environment. This place has well-maintained roads with proper street lights with a wide pavement area.
