The entire area is well planned and residential and commercial zones are demarcated by the National Highway 4. Kalamboli is home to the largest outlet of McDonald’s in Navi Mumbai along with other social infrastructure. The CIDCO is the major administrative body here and has already developed a sewage water treatment plant here. The area is home to huge markets and supermarkets.The area has a reliable network of auto rickshaws and BEST, KDMT, NMMT, MSRTC and KMT buses which connect it to almost all parts of Mumbai. Areas like Kurla, Ghansoli, Ghatkopar, Thane, Dadar, Vashi, Uran, Sion, , Panvel and Wadala are readily accessible from the area courtesy the bus network. Kalamboli has its own railway station as part of the Vasai Road-Panvel-Diva route and will have three metro stations as part of the Navi Mumbai metro project. The Taloja MIDC is also well connected to the area. The Kharghar, Panvel, Khandeshwar and Mansarovar railway stations are also easily accessible from Kalamboli.The Navi Mumbai SEZ has a node in Kalamboli next to the Taloja MIDC along the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. Leading hospitals in the area include the Mahatma Gandhi Mission Hospital, Jeevandeep Hospital, Dhanvantari Hospital, Dr Singh’s City Hospital & Medical Research Centre, Noble Care Hospital, Baljeet Medical Hospital, Indore Clinic, Satyam Multispecialty Hospital and Jyothi Clinic among others. Several leading banks like IDBI, BOI, Canara Bank, SBI and HDFC have their branches in the area.Kalamboli is also home to several reputed educational institutions like the St Joseph’s High School and Junior College,  MGM Medical College and College of Engineering and Technology, Hotel and Tourism Management College, Carmel Convent High School, Vedant High School, KLE Society’s Science & Commerce College, New English High School and many others. There are several hotels and restaurants present in the area as well. Property prices have increased by approximately 5.92% in the area as per Q3 2015 and average prices stand at around INR 6, 284 per sq. ft. here for the same period. Popular projects include Akshar Valencia, Monarch Properties Imperial, Neelkanth Majestic and GDC Bhoomi Gardenia to name a few.
