Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary announced a significant infrastructure initiative to extend Patna's J.P. Ganga Path into a 126-km Ganga Marine Drive. The project, estimated at ₹70,000 crore, aims to enhance road connectivity and transport infrastructure along the Ganga corridor.
The Mandiri Nala Road Project, costing ₹115 crore, has been inaugurated in Patna under the Patna Smart City Mission. This project involves covering the Mandiri Nala into a box drain with a road built above it, which is expected to improve monsoon drainage and ease traffic flow in central Patna.
The elevated stretch of the Patna Metro from Bhoothnath to Malahi Pakri, a key part of Corridor II, has successfully passed a safety inspection by the Chief Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety. This 2.75 km section, including Khemnichak station, is set to open soon, completing the priority elevated corridor and boosting urban mobility.
