Cemindia Projects Limited has been awarded the contract for the Swargate–Katraj underground extension of the Pune Metro. This 5.5-km underground stretch, part of Phase II, will ease congestion on Satara Road and improve north–south connectivity.The revised tender includes stations at Market Yard, Padmavati, Katraj, Bibwewadi, and Balajinagar.
