Gurugram Contractor Fined for Drain Project Delay, Sector 99 Residents Demand Streetlights

The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has penalized a contractor Rs 58 lakh for failing to begin work on a 2.8-km drain project in Sector 17-18. The drain is planned from IFFCO Chowk to Atul Kataria Chowk.Separately, residents of Sector 99 are demanding operational streetlights on a 1km stretch between Pareena Laxmi and Garhi village, which has been unlit for over a year despite streetlight installation.
