Central Gurgaon was the first major area of development after commercial success of DLF City. It is the heart and lifeline of Gurgaon – its markets, its offices, and its residences. It was only hub of commercial activity for long time, and MG Road is still the hottest retail destination and Cyber City area hottest business destination. There are plenty of residential high rise options built around these business hubs. Most of the construction is fairly old – over 10 years mostly, though there are some newer options as well. Most of the newer constructions are happening in independent floors as occupancy in plotted areas is not 100%. Many of the localities are hot popular destinations among the rich for luxury villa construction. Central Gurgaon is the only area almost completely connected through Delhi Metro and Rapid Metro. Since most of the construction is old, interiors and specifications are good only where renovation has been done by the owner. Similarly most people rely on amenities outside the project, though such facilities like clubhouse, spas, gyms are in abundance and top quality too. Most people living in other locations (including Golf Course Road) will find themselves shuttling to central Gurgaon quite frequently.
