Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that construction activity for the Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project is progressing steadily across all four corridors. Land acquisition is complete for two corridors :Baiyappanahalli–Chikkabanavara and Heelalige–Rajanukunte corridors, land acquisition has been completed, and station development is underway.

Karnataka has modified its land allotment policy to secure a Rs 3,600 crore semiconductor project by California-based Applied Materials. The company will be allotted 140 acres at the Bengaluru Signature Business Park (BSBP) near Kempegowda International Airport for an R&D and ecosystem development project.

The Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA) is set to launch over 4,000 apartments across six projects in areas including Electronics City, Konadasapura, Kalathammanahalli, and Kenchanapura This initiative aims to address Bengaluru's growing housing demand and optimize urban land use. The BDA has invested approximately ₹3,200 crore in these projects, which are in various stages of construction.

Residents of Yelahanka are facing significant difficulties due to ongoing civic works that commenced over a year ago. Dust exposure, crater-filled lanes, and unpredictable traffic diversions are making travel exhausting. The slow progress on the Jakkur Railway Overbridge is further compounding commuter problems. The market area at Raithra Santhe is also experiencing chaotic parking, uncollected garbage.

The Karnataka government has approved the Bengaluru Business Corridor (BBC), a 117-km infrastructure project aimed at reducing city traffic by up to 40%. The project, estimated at Rs 27,000 crore and funded by a HUDCO loan, is expected to be completed within two years. The BBC will connect key areas like Tumakuru Road, Yelahanka, Whitefield, Electronic City, and Mysuru Road, diverting vehicles traveling between highways and industrial zones
