MHADAhas opened an online sale for 118 flats in Mumbai, offering an opportunity for potential homebuyers to secure affordable housing in the city. The application process commenced on February 17, 2026.Flats are located in areas such as Kandivali, Charkop, Shimpoli, Antop Hill, Wadala, Powai, Malad, Mankhurd, Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Byculla, Tardeo, Lower Parel, Sion, Juhu and Andheri.

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has decided to scrap its plan to construct a car depot for Metro Line 9 at Uttan-Dongri due to strong opposition from local residents concerned about environmental damage and the felling of approximately 12,000 trees. The authority will now utilize the existing Charkop car depot, which currently serves Metro lines 2A and 7.
