Patna's Infrastructure Poised for Major Upgrade with New Ring Road and Elevated Corridor Projects

Patna is set to experience a significant transformation in its infrastructure with the proposed 150-km Patna Ring Road under the Bharatmala programme, estimated at ₹15,000 crore. Additionally, the ₹292.74 crore elevated corridor and flyover project connecting Mithapur to Karbigahiya is nearing completion, targeting a December 2026 finish.

Patna Metro's priority elevated stretch passes safety inspection

The elevated stretch of the Patna Metro from Bhoothnath to Malahi Pakri, a key part of Corridor II, has successfully passed a safety inspection by the Chief Commissioner of Metro Railway Safety. This 2.75 km section, including Khemnichak station, is set to open soon, completing the priority elevated corridor and boosting urban mobility.
