The only con that I want to mention is the flooding and waterlogging during the monsoon.

It has good schools like St. John's Matriculation Higher Secondary School and Don Bosco Matriculation Higher Secondary School, so it's perfect for families. Medical facilities such as Sri Kumaran Hospital and Sri Sai Balaji Hospital provide residents with access to good medical facilities. There are parks and recreational grounds that increase the aesthetic value of the area. The infrastructure in some places is in need of improvement, especially in the Madhavaram Leather Industrial Park. Improvement in the underground drainage system is also greatly needed.
