Pune Metro's Phase 2 plans include approximately 22 km of integrated double-decker flyovers across the city. These corridors will feature six-lane and eight-lane elevated roads. Key stretches are planned on the Ramwadi-Wagholi, Vanaz-Chandani Chowk, Kharadi-Khadakwasla, and Bhairoba Nala-Akashwani routes.

The Pune Ring Road project, a major infrastructure initiative by MSRDC, is advancing through its planning, alignment finalization, and land acquisition phases. This 172-kilometer outer ring road aims to divert heavy traffic around the city and improve inter-city connectivity.

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is expediting the widening of a busy 2 km stretch of North Main Road in Koregaon Park, aiming to alleviate traffic snarls. The project involves shifting utilities and is expected to add a lane on each side. This will improve traffic flow for commuters heading towards Mundhwa, Hadapsar-Magarpatta, and the Hadapsar railway station.
