The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has submitted the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the proposed 60 km metro extension from Madavara (BIEC) to Tumakuru. The project, aims to connect Madavara with Tumakuru through Nelamangala, Dobbspet, and Kyathasandra, enhancing regional mobility.
