The Noida Authority is planning a massive ₹29,315 crore project to develop a 25-kilometer riverfront along the Hindon River, inspired by Lucknow's Gomti riverfront. This initiative includes extensive road construction, land development, and rehabilitation efforts, aiming to transform the riverbanks with green spaces and tourism infrastructure.

The Noida Authority will begin land acquisition for its New Noida project (Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region) in August. Ground surveys will be conducted across 37 villages for the first phase. The project aims to develop a smart city and industrial hub, with 40% of the land earmarked for industrial purposes. This development is expected to strengthen the region's logistics network and create economic opportunities.

The Greater Noida authority is set to launch a 24x7 helpline center to improve citizen services, enable complaint reporting, and track grievances. The center will utilize multiple communication channels and ensure prompt follow-ups. A request for proposal has been issued, with bids due by August 5.

YEIDA has proposed two integrated smart townships, 'Japan City' and 'Singapore City,' spanning 1,000 acres near the Noida International Airport in Jewar. These townships are designed to combine industry, residential blocks, commercial spaces, and modern amenities, aiming to attract foreign investment, create jobs, and accelerate regional development into a global industrial and residential hub.

UP PWD has proposed road strengthening and widening projects worth over ₹256 crore for Gautam Budh Nagar, including Noida and Greater Noida, for the 2026-27 financial year. The projects include widening and strengthening nearly 79 km of roads and constructing rural roads and minor bridges.

The Greater Noida authority board approved a budget of ₹6,048 crore for FY 2026-27, including the extension of a 37-km road from Greater Noida to the Hapur bypass, linking to the Ganga Expressway.The budget allocates ₹1,150 crore for land acquisition and ₹2,176 crore for development works.

GNIDA has approved a six-month pilot of 15 electric buses on four feeder routes linking key residential and business hubs to the Noida International Airport (Jewar). The service, costing ₹1.8 crore, is expected to improve connectivity to the new airport, which begins commercial operations on June 15.

Indirapuram officially became the sixth municipal zone of the Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation (GMC) in April 2026, following its handover from the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA). The GDA committed ₹185 crore to the GMC for upgrading civic facilities.

A tender has been issued for the widening of the road connecting Greater Noida West to NH-91(Kanpur - Ghaziabad Hiighway), a project expected to ease traffic congestion and improve connectivity. The upgrade to a four-lane road aims to make travel smoother between the sectors and the highway, potentially easing existing bottlenecks.
