The Noida Authority board has approved the revised layout for the Sports City project in Sector 150, resolving years of uncertainty for approximately 20,000 homebuyers. This decision, in compliance with a Supreme Court order, unfreezes development and legal documentation, allowing developers to complete pending works and the state to begin property registrations.

The Noida Authority plans to issue a new tender for the pending international golf course project in Sector 151A, with an estimated ₹40 crore for remaining developmental work. The project, launched in July 2021, has faced significant delays, with only 68% completion as of July this year. The authority blacklisted the earlier contractor for repeated delays. The total project cost has now escalated to about ₹140 crore because of design changes and rising construction material costs.
