Mumbai Metro Line 3 (Aqua Line) Fully Operational, Enhancing Connectivity

The Mumbai Metro Line 3, also known as the Aqua Line, is fully operational, connecting Cuffe Parade to Aarey JVLR. The 33.5-km underground line has 27 stations and is expected to serve 13 lakh passengers daily. The final phase was inaugurated on October 9, 2025, and integrates with existing transport networks, providing connectivity to business hubs, entertainment zones, and airports.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Phase 2B of Mumbai Metro Line-3, completing the entire Aqua Line. This 33.5 km underground line with 27 stations connects Colaba to SEEPZ and is expected to cater to 13 lakh passengers daily.
