Ariadaha is a locality near Kolkata on the bank of the Hooghly river. It comes under the Kamarhati Municipality. Dakshineswar, Alambazar-Baranagar, Belgharia-Rathtala and BT Road lie close to Ariadaha. There are many renowned temples in the area. Some of them are Ariadaha Muktakeshi Kalibari, Adyapeath Temple, Ariadaha Path Bari and Bindhyabasini Temple.
Apart from the historical attractions, the area is well-connected to Kolkata through roads and the metro. The Kolkata metro connects Ariadaha with Uttarpara, Belur, Ratanbabu Ghat, Bagbazar, Howrah station and shipping. The network of roads that connect the locality to Kolkata include the Belgharia Expressway and the GT road. The area has all the required facilities and is a part of the area covered by the Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA).
