The Pune camp area is one of the best places to stay in Pune. Though being right in the City Centre the place is not very crowded and is perfect for a tranquil living. The place has a colonial feel to it, home to simple bakeries, Stalls selling budget clothing on Fashion Street and shops on MG Road offer saris and crafts which make the area very vibrant and lively.
Camp is a lovely and stunning location. Nearby are all the necessary amenities including stores, hospitals, schools, and colleges. However, for the same reasons, the neighborhood regularly experiences traffic bottlenecking and sometimes chaos. But the pros outweigh the cons. Even the train station is just 3 KM away. It is overall an upscale area with a variety of recreational possibilities.
The locality of the Camp area is perfect for retail joints as many tourist attractions such as the war memorial museum and the military cantonment are present within walking distance of each other. As a result, the locality is very vibrant with all amenities obtainable easily. But on the downside, the same creates many traffic confessions in the area which makes commuting problematic during office hours.
