MMRDA to Launch Metro Lines 2B and 9, Bhoomipujan for Thane-Borivali Tunnel and BKC Pod Taxi on April 7
The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) will inaugurate Metro Line 2B (Phase I) and Metro Line 9 (Phase I), and conduct the bhoomipujan for the Thane–Borivali Twin Tunnel project and the pod taxi system in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) on April 7. These projects aim to significantly reduce travel time, ease congestion, and improve connectivity across Mumbai's suburbs.
