GMDA will conduct a drone survey across 42 villages to identify illegal constructions and encroachments, following the issuance of 250 notices to violators, with survey results matched against revenue records for further action. The Haryana government is also initiating a land procurement drive to acquire 17,358 acres from 36 villages in Gurgaon for developing new planned sectors, managed digitally via the e-Bhoomi portal

The MCG is fast-tracking projects worth nearly ₹300 crore for completion by 2026, focusing on enhancing sports facilities, administrative infrastructure, green spaces, and internal road networks. Key projects nearing completion include a new 10-storey Municipal Corporation headquarters (Rs 184 crore), a multi-level parking facility at Sohna Chowk (expected early 2026), and the Wazirabad Sports Complex (July 2026).

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini inaugurated several development projects worth Rs 113.64 crore in Gurugram, aimed at enhancing civic amenities such as roads, drainage, parking, health, and community infrastructure. Key projects include a multilevel car parking facility at Sadar Bazaar and a community center in Sector 14 ,a modern sports hostel at Nehru Stadium, and the upgrade of the PHC at Wazirabad to a 50-bed hospital & a new school building in Police lines
