Hyderabad's luxury real estate market has emerged as the leader in South India for FY26, recording ₹8,562 crore in sales for homes priced above ₹10 crore. The city offers buyers significantly more space compared to Bengaluru and Chennai, with luxury home sales more than four times higher than Bengaluru.

PM Narendra Modi will launch and dedicate development projects worth nearly Rs 9,400 crore in Telangana. Key projects include the PM MITRA Park in Warangal, Zaheerabad Industrial Area, NH-167 Four-Lane Corridor, Indian Oil Malkapur Terminal, and railway infrastructure projects like the Kazipet–Vijayawada multi-tracking project.

The report, 'Moving Towards Effective City Government,' focuses on strengthening city governments to improve services, enhance accountability, and streamline processes.

The Telangana RERA Appellate Tribunal has ruled that real estate projects on plots less than 500 square yards or upto 8 units , do not require mandatory RERA registration. This ruling provides regulatory clarity for small residential developments and may simplify approvals and timelines for such projects, potentially supporting faster redevelopment in urban areas with limited plot sizes.

Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) is initiating plans to introduce an Automated/Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) system to connect key high-density zones, including IT and business hubs, State Secretariat, Knowledge City, Raidurg, Hitec City, and the Financial District. This will reduce traffic , dependency on private vehicles.

Hyderabad has topped India's real estate market in sales value for housing units priced between ₹1-2 crore in the first half of 2025, registering sales worth ₹21,448 crore with 15,152 units sold.
