A new arm flyover connecting Palm Beach Road to the Sion-Panvel Highway was inaugurated in Vashi Sector 17. This 290-meter flyover, built by the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) at a cost of ₹18.32 crore, provides a direct route for commuters traveling towards Pune. It is expected to significantly ease traffic congestion and reduce travel time by 10-15 minutes, eliminating the need for detours via Sanpada. The project addresses a key gap in Navi Mumbai's road network, improving connectivity and overall planning.

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has presented a surplus budget of ₹48,072 crore, with a significant 87% allocated to infrastructure projects, including ₹4,000 crore for the development of Mumbai 3.0 New Town. This budget prioritizes planned urban expansion, improved connectivity, and enhanced urban services, aiming to boost the region's infrastructure ecosystem.

EV Homes Constructions Private Limited has been selected as the developer for the redevelopment of Jai Maharashtra Society in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. This project, the city's second-largest cluster redevelopment, aims to provide residents with modern homes and improve essential services like drainage and water supply, contributing to the urban renewal of Vashi.
