About Wadala

Demand for property in Wadala has gone up hugely over the last few years since the transformation of this area into a coveted residential destination. The Eastern Freeway is another major connectivity driver for Wadala. Wadala is strategically connected to several business hubs across the entire MMR.Wadala is also well connected to Mahalaxmi and Lower Parel along with other business destinations. Wadala is home to several reputed educational institutions like the University Institute of Chemical Technology, Vidyalankar Institute of Technology (VIT), Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, SNDT Women’s University, Auxilium Convent High School and Khalsa College and the Dr Ambedkar Commerce & Law College. The SIWS College is also located near the Wadala railway station while the area is also home to one of the largest bus depots in Mumbai. The Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital and Ackworth Leprosy Hospital are also present in the area. Property prices have gone up by approximately 0.75% in the area as per Q3 2015 and average prices stand at around INR 20, 057 per sq. ft. here for the same period.
