Architect Warns New Building Rules Could Lead to 'City of Dead Concrete'
Architect Samir D'Monte has warned that Mumbai's liberal redevelopment policies and increased Floor Space Index (FSI) could lead to overcrowding, traffic congestion, and excessive urban density. He projects that current planning regulations could significantly increase population and vehicle density in neighborhoods like Bandra (West).
