The Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Greater Noida West metro project has been rejected by the central government due to multiple deficiencies, including a lack of clarity on technical feasibility, operational planning, ridership projections, and economic viability. A new DPR will be prepared, considering current population density and commuter demand, which will likely cause further delays for residents.

The Uttar Pradesh government has released ₹32 crore for the construction of two new ramps on the Hindon Elevated Road. These ramps, one at Vasundhara and another at Kanawani, will improve connectivity towards UP Gate, which is currently inaccessible from these locations. The project is expected to be completed within 18 months and will benefit thousands of daily commuters.
