About Parel, Mumbai

Parel is a part of the Secondary Business District (SBD). Parel, which is spread over 4.05 square km, houses approximately 146,056 people. Parel's climate is tropical, with dry and wet seasons, high humidity, and moderate heat. Marathi is the official language. But Hindi is also spoken. Not only this, the name Parel is derived from the Parli Vaijnath Mahadev Temple. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
